You must admit that my girls totally look like sisters, they get everything from their dad.

The last few days Mia has been giving us giving us a difficult time. Before when we would tell her to do things (like pick the toys up and put them away), it would take her a some time but before too long she would do it. Now every time I ask her to do anything she will just say "I can't". It takes her forever for her to do anything. I am not liking this faze that she is going through. It's driving me crazy.
Meg on the other hand is very obedient for a one year old. She is very good at doing things at we ask her to do. She is so pleased with her self for it. Even when Meg doesn't want to do things that we ask her to she will still do it. But she will cry about it.
It's crazy how completely different they are.

What a good little girl Meg is. Hopefully Mia's phase wont last long. I am calling you on Monday afternoon so be ready :)
Your girls do totally look like Hyrum and the Monsivais girls.
Maddie has the same I can't issue right now. She won't even attempt to do something before insisting she can't. . . it's rather frustrating isn't it?!
Meg is looking more like Mia every day. Such cuties.
i so totally hate that stage. talia is in it right now. if she doesn't say "i can';t" then she will just drop it, leave it there, or take FOREVER to do it.
love ya,
cousin anna
Your girls are so cute.
Like my boys, your girls are cut from the same mold. :) Have you ever tried turning to your other daughter when the first says "I can't" or "no" and asking them to do it? It works wonders on my boys... except that they usually fight over who gets to do it then. :)
Gillian is in that "I can't" phase. It is so hard to not yell, "What do you mean you can't--I've seen you do it 100 times." I thought kids were suppose to be struggling to find their indepence by doing things themselves. I much prefer that kind of independence.
Thank you so much everyone. It is so nice to know that other Moms are going through the same thing. It help me look at it a different way so that I can have more patience with Mia.
Well hello..I am new to your blog...thanks for sharing !!! Your girls are darling...yes, they come how they are and they really don't change !!!
Carlise is going through the same stage. It can be very frustrating, just hoping it's a short lived stage. Good luck. =]
